Arabica coffee thrives in high mountainous regions, typically grown at altitudes of 1,000-1,500 meters. The trees have large, dark green canopies with oval-shaped leaves. A mature Arabica tree can grow from 4 to 6 meters, but when left in the wild, it may reach up to 15 meters. Its oval-shaped fruits each contain two seeds. Among all coffee species, Arabica holds the greatest economic value.

On the market, Arabica coffee is always highly regarded for its delicious flavor, with its price often double that of Robusta. Arabica accounts for nearly 70% of premium coffee products worldwide. It originates from the tropical highlands of Ethiopia in East Africa. Brazil and Colombia are the two main exporters of this type of coffee, and the quality of their beans is considered the best. In Vietnam, the province of Lam Dong, with areas like Di Linh, Bao Loc, Don Duong, and the outskirts of Da Lat, is considered the Arabica coffee paradise of Vietnam. With “golden indicators” of altitude at 1,500 meters, a temperate climate that stays cool year-round, a maximum yearly temperature not exceeding 33°C, and a minimum of 5°C, it is the region that produces the highest quality Arabica in the country. The higher the terrain and the colder the climate, the better quality Arabica beans are produced.

Arabica has a mild acidity interwoven with a gentle bitterness, and its water color is a light brown, as clear as amber. The aroma of Arabica is refined and noble, with hints of syrup, floral notes, honey, toasted bread, and even the scent of straw fields on a summer afternoon. Arabica captivates even the most discerning connoisseurs around the world. This coffee is the primary ingredient for the most famous coffee brands worldwide.

Unfortunately, due to a lack of information and awareness about premium coffee, most Vietnamese people do not believe that coffee can have an acidic taste. Many still think that coffee can only be bitter, not sour. However, the delicate acidity combined with the mild bitterness and the intoxicating, elegant fragrance of Arabica is a precious gift from the heavens for coffee enthusiasts. This unique flavor awakens the passionate spirit of coffee drinkers worldwide. Arabica, with its charming and gentle character, represents the feminine, the yin, the beauty of womanhood. Arabica – the noble passion of the world’s most discerning coffee lovers.
