A former lecturer, in 1980, Mr. Do Long left his teaching profession to take over a modest street-side coffee shop from his father and brother, thus beginning his coffee enterprise. At that time, the coffee shop at 123 Le Loi Street was unnamed and held a distinctly local ambiance. However, this young entrepreneur still journeyed to Tam Ky and Tuy Hoa, eager to learn the art of roasting, brewing, and experiencing diverse coffee flavors in Tuy Hoa, driven by his conviction that their coffee was unmatched. He savored the essence of Huong Hoa coffee, delved into the world of Bao Loc's Arabica beans, and skillfully merged the robust character of Dak Lak's Robusta with the delicate nuances of Lam Dong's Arabica. Committed to preserving the authentic flavors without artificial enhancements, he pioneered a refined and distinct coffee style.

...After several business trips to the US, where he tasted many types of American coffee, he realized that his Southeast Asian style of coffee would be a perfect fit for the Asian community here. Joining forces with his daughter's passion, Long Coffee at 10611 Bellaire Blvd Houston, TX 77072 was born, soon earning the nickname, "The Starbucks of Asia," from the locals.
